PSE&G EV Charging FAQs
Does PSE&G pay for the charger?
No. The credit applies to eligible installation and make-ready costs, not the charger.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes, to get the full benefit. Homeowners may do their own work, but their labor is not covered by the credit. A licensed electrician's paid, itemized invoice is what PSE&G reviews.
How long until I get the credit?
After PSE&G approves your documents, it appears on your bill within one to two billing cycles. The full process can take up to three months.
